CID,

Thank you. Enjoyed seeing the traveler in action, and enjoyed your playing.

Thanks, everyone. Videoing is beginning to be a little more comfortable.

I still have not mastered the flatter bridge. I was trying to accommodate that at the cost of even worse bowing than I have, which is not that good. It is fun trying.

It will be moving on soon.

Just wanted to let you know that the Traveler has not been forgotten. I am waiting to find out where in the USA she will be visiting next. I had to hold off for a bit, but when I hear where she goes, I will be shipping her off.

If I get a song down good enough to video before she goes, I will make another video. I think I did all the songs I know, but I will check. If there isn’t already a set of backup strings in the case, I will put a set in, probably Fiddlerman. I am also going to vacuum out the case with my little handheld vacuum.

Is there anything you can think of that I can check, as a novice violin checker (😂), before I send her off? She is staying in tune between playing. I don't really know about the bows because I have used my own bow, also my own chinrest and shoulder rest.

Also, does anyone know if it has to be sent where it has to be signed for when delivered, or just so that it is delivered and left at the door? It will have a tracking number. I did not have to sign for it, but we went to the Post Office to pick it up to make it easier for our rural delivery person. I don’t recall signing anything.

Next on the list seems to be @Meierwiesenweg 7 but she is not showing up in the search.  Are you on here?

@Georganne

I did not see her in the members list. Fiddlerman may be able to do a more thorough check.

Had a private message, but can't find a tab on my phone to reply. My name is not on the list for a second visit. At least not right now. Thanks for asking. Perhaps in the future.

@Ripton  You are welcome. Guess it wasn’t you. LOL Weird the reply did not show up on the phone. On my iPhone 5S it is right below the message. If you have a certain color scheme, the options are really not visible. On my phone, the color theme I am using is brown-cream. That might get you the “buttons” you can’t see.

I can begin a reply, but oddly can't find the send button. All is good. Working my way back over to the C string. Shoulders is still locked but I can at least get a few quick notes on the deep side.

Is replying still a problem? Hope your shoulders get better.

Ok she doesn't seem to be an active member, nor is the next on the list; Taras Pokalchuk.  And that is the end of the list.  Sooo who wants it next?

Sorry I was gone working a remote check point for our 1000 mile sled dog race.  I'm back now.
