I was right on on everything except um about the Dominants:-0 I'm all for hearing the sound with string changes. The more I learn and understand the better. Thanks for doing that Barry.

The next thing I plan to do is put the Helicores on violin #1 and dominants on Violin#2  and compare them. Would you folks like me to post a video so you can compare them as well ?

I would. Stuff like this is always fun and interesting. Not sure what it proves either.
Whenever I was interested in buying a new violin I always compared it in a big hall against some of the finest instruments in the orchestra with help of my colleagues. The blind tests revealed some pretty surprising results from time to time.

No problem with wolf tones Mustang, I dont care for it either, Its my wifes now and she's learning on it. In "real" life it is much thinner and only half the volume of my German.  Im going to put a set of Helicores on it and see if they help.

Wow, that's good. Mine has some pretty bad wolf tones. xD

I think it would be interesting to post a video after swapping the strings. :)

Thanks for the test. I'm very interested in hearing the string swap also.
