I was given an old violin.  There are two labels inside.  One, in the normal spot, says "Made in Germany", and another, beneath the other f hole says "The Soloist".  Does anyone have an idea who made it?

Probably a german trade violin they made hundreds of thousands, post it on maestronet with images, its a free site and they are experts,  but they will most likely tell you what I just said. Then again you could have a very expensive mittenwald, who knows, without seeing it.
