Hi everyone! I'm new here, but I've been around music all my life and I was considering designing a wall hanger that could hold several violins. Is this something people would generally be interested in? I'm just looking for some feedback! Thank you!

Most people on here who hang their violins on the wall make their own bracket. Personally I would rather keep my violin in its case due to dust, humidity, and lots of other things. my own violin cost 1600 dollars which isnt expensive in violin terms but is a lot of money for me, therefore I would never consider hanging my instrument on the wall, other people may think differently.

That's very nice! Do you mount it directly to the wall?

Sure, that makes perfect sense, I understand why you would feel that way! When you store it in a case, do you put the case then on a shelf, on the floor, etc?

@kevinmci I would be more willing to answer your question if you would go to the introduce yourself and let us know a little about you. It would be much more friendly than just coming in and asking questions to help you make something to sell.

I know you said a little in the first post, but why not officially introduce yourself in the forum room for introducing yourself first, and be a part of the group? If we give you feedback, I just think you should also contribute. Not meaning this in any harsh way, you probably have not thought of it this way, but why not join the group and contribute as well as ask for opinions for a product you want to make and sell? This is the only topic you have posted in.

While you are at it, check out other topic forums. You said you have been around music all your life. Let us know more, share your music experiences and join in on other topic posts.

We are a really friendly group of people and have fun, and help each other. I look forward to your intro and other contributions.

@kevinmci I am pleased you understood. I appreciate that you introduced yourself.

My husband made me a lovely wall hanger for my violins, violas and bows. He really does not enjoy doing woodworking, but he made that, and it is beautiful. So, I am not really looking for one.
