Today I received a Vitali three star pernambuco violin bow.  It is octagonal and is on the heavy side at 63.3 grams.  Is anyone familiar with them?

Thanks Mark, 

Makes some sense on age, it came with a violin made in 1949.  Mack played it and thought it played well but wasn’t  fond of the weight.
