You can see in the picture below that sometimes a chin rest is not needed wink

The violin is a Mark Wood Viper (5 string?) and the body strap is standard with this instrument.  I wonder if it is as easy as it looks?

The girl is my Grand Niece who is a sort of junior violin celebrity in NJ.  She performs on violin, viola and bassoon (not at the same time).

Her only fault so far is that she is crazy about Bach (violin)!  Kids, kids !!!!!!!

I was getting excited waiting to see someone play a violin, viola and bassoon at the same time.  Makes my wonder how you could do it.

PS    She usually is more cheerful than in this picture.  Maybe she is playing something serious violin-student (JAZZ?)
