Ok I recently won at auction a Paige's Music 15" Viola
It was missing it Fingerboard, bridge, chin rest and strings. So I was actually bidding on the case that looked to be in good shape.
I was surprised when it got here and I got a good look at it, it was in rather good condition. So I decided to use some spare parts I had lying around ( I canniblised my old Cresent violin) using the maple fingerboard and strings, which was strung as a viola before it fell apart. And a violin bridge blank.
In short time I had a functioning viola. Not correctly repaired but functional.
My question now is who really made this viola as Paige's Music is a school orchestra
supplier.
With violins there is no fretting over the music.
