I just wanted to let the members here who also interested in Violaman know that I started work on it today. There is a Learning Viola/Section now. I moved the posts from the former Learning tips to the Learning Viola/Cello. There are two forum rooms. Learning to play Viola and Cello, and Music Theory.
I will do some more over the more than next few days 😂
This is not a replacement for Fiddlerman, it is a, sort of, supplement for viola and cello, and anyone else. Hopefully, it will get a little busier as it is freshened up (It is, or will be, similar to Fiddlerman). That site was started a long time ago, it is not new, just kind of went to sleep. As such, there are a lot of informational and fun posts there already.

Are you planning to remove Viola and Cello from this forum?
It would be a shame - I've learned a lot from these threads.
I may be the only vocal 5 string player on the forum, for now, but even at the recent Fiddle Hell Festival it was talked about how 5 string instruments - even Cellos, are becoming increasingly more popular.

I, for one, will stay here. Much of the violin discussion has bearing on playing my viola, plus the other discussions of interest, such as repair, performances, large participation in parties will probably be here with its large participatory audience.

@ELCBK and @JohnG The site mentioned above, as stated in the post, is not a replacement, nothing is being removed. It is a forum that was started a long time ago, shortly after this forum, I believe. It kind of went to sleep, but is still a working forum. It is not to replace anything and is not connected to this forum by post links, or anything.
There are a few members here who are also interested in Violaman, too, not instead. I was updating the info for them here because until it is fixed up, they don’t visit regularly over there. They know I am working on it. I will update them in another way in the future, if need be. It seems to be a source of concern here. Just wanted them to know that I was able to start working on it. No biggy. Nothing changes here at all. They are separate.
If it is still a source of concern, I can delete this post and the replies. That is not a big deal, either.
