Through much effort on Pierre's part, Violaman.com is once again back online after hackers forced a month-long hiatus.
Show some love to the "Dark Side" and visit Fiddlerman.com's sister-site. Perhaps you might even consider becoming a regular contributor to the site's rebirth.

Is it just time to pull the plug on this experiment? I am beyond discouraged, both by the lack of interest in general and the seemingly constant struggle to even stay online. I'm beginning to think that hackers visit the site more than any aspiring violist.
I think you are right about the hackers. I use to go to violaman now and then but after it being down so often I gave up. I was concerned about getting a virus from the site. Perhaps a section of fiddlerman can contain violaman. I know you worked hard on the site would hate to see it gone completely.

I won't give up.
I think it is my cheap server which is the problem. All my sites on that sever are down.
Please advise as soon as anyone notices in the future. Sometimes just hours can make a big difference.

I hope you all saw that I got it up and running shortly after I found out about it's demise.
Violaman is now on a cloudflare server and is much faster. Plus it is spread on multiple servers so that it should never be down again. 
So, don't give up on violaman and he won't give up on you.
