I've decided that I should "thin the herd" as I'm trying to save up enough pennies to upgrade my violin. This violin started out as my very first foray into the violin playing world. I lived in the Barracks at the time and needed something that would be quiet enough not to go through thin walls but enough of an acoustic that I could learn how to play by hearing the notes. I didn't know about mutes back then and needless to say it did an amazing job. I finally moved out into my own home and no longer needed to be so quiet. Now this violin is mostly just sitting around and it's time to find another home. It's a no-name brand I picked up in California for $300. I'm asking $250 + shipping for it since the chin rest is old and glued together. So far there are a few small cracks in the varnish but no actual cracks n the violin that I can see. it still plays wonderfully just very quietly. It would work great for a beginner in an apartment type situation or for a younger child to practice without annoying the parents to badly.
It comes with a case and I can even add some student rosin as well if needed. I'm offering it on here first before I list it on eBay No bow is included.
