I am doing my ABRSM Grade 6 and I am looking for a new violin. Should I get the Fiddlerman Master or Soloist violin or do you recommend something else.

All I can say is that both are made in the GCV workshop and those guys have proven to know what they are doing. The Soloist is made using higher quality materials and by the more senior luthiers though I get impressed by both violins consistently.
Another thing to keep in mind is that a brand new violin will continue to get better throughout your life, unless it's abused and not taken care of. Some of the absolute cheapest violins using bad materials may not improve over time but these will open up over the course of time. :)
