@pky: I am not sure, but I bought my first Fiddlerman violin used from someone on Kijiji. I think if you don't see too many, they are violins that are being moved on, either someone is not playing anymore or upgrading and selling the old one?  When I got my first one I looked up the name on the label inside and it led me here, which made me feel better about buying it. (and of course led me astray to the Fiddlerman store!)
