I asked her instructor and she said that the 1/4 size is a good fit right now (almost too big), and that she would likely need that size for 1-2 years. I will measure her arm length when she gets home from school and post it so that I can get your opinion. As you can imagine, I would rather not have to buy a larger size in a few months if I invest in this now, so you make a good point.
