Does anyone know where I can find inexpensive strings for violin in south Florida? Or is it best to order on the web?

I'm wondering the same thing. I am still using strings that I purchased before moving here. Soon on my last set.  I would be happy to get some suggestions as well. Which websites give the best price and service for stings?

I have a few sets of Pirastro "Gold" violin strings for $40.00 a set which is about $14.00 less than the cheapest online store...Beyond that most online stores are pretty competitive and prices are about the same. Depending on what you are looking for  Tthis website is about the cheapest... if you spend around $100, they knock off an additional 10%

I just ordered my strings from "No Strings Attached" after comparing prices a little bit (above link). I hope that they get here soon with the free shipping option. My strings are on their last stretch and I've been neglectful about having reserve strings lately.

I have been installing strings from startright strings.  They are inexpensive but sound nice.

I only saw viola and cello strings there. How much are those synthetic core violin strings? I'm always looking for affordable solutions for members with small pockets. exactly
