It's going to take me a little time to post everything with prices and descriptions but there is a 100 year old violin that will go for less than 100$ USD. I have some unlabeled violins that would range a person beyond intermediate level, and I do play those on occasion because of the the unique tones they have. They haven't been played near enough to open them up. Actual playing time on those is under 2 hours if they have ever been played.
Some of the violins I'll show will not have strings or tailpieces. That only means that I'm going to show some pics of tailpieces for you to choose from, that I will include in the purchase.
I also have a Terry Baucom Signature series Deering Banjo I will be posting. It is without a doubt the fastest neck I have ever seen. It is amazing in every way a bluegrass banjo should be.
And there's more! Professional grade soprano saxophone. Played great until I was hit in the face with a 28 pound block of aluminum knocking my teeth out. It has set in the case ever since.
Know what else has set in the case ever since? A Yamaha trumpet with no less than 4 mouthpieces. Played like a dream and I will sell it and the mouthpieces for less than what I paid for the trumpet. Bach mouthpieces If you want to look up the prices to get an idea of the bargains I'm offering.
I also have 3 bass guitars and possibly a brand new gold tone octave mandolin. one of those basses is so beautiful I have to include a picture of it on here today.
The reason I'm selling is to raise money for my future. I have arthritis real bad and a health condition that has to be paid for, and I like to eat as much as the next guy.
There's nothing wrong with any of these instruments. Some have never been played and some have been beat up and knocked around. I will try my best to photo any damages when I take all the pics.
I may be willing to negotiate on some prices. Arthritis has stopped me from playing some things like the octave mandolin and the bass, I can't spread my fingers wide enough to cover the frets I need to cover to play. It's really slowed me down.
I can still cover 7 frets on a violin, banjo, irish tenor, and mandolin. I have a killer banjo that sounds awesome I wouldn't sell for anything and if I put a price on it, it would take your breath.
Same with 2 violins i bought from Pierre. 1 a begginner instrument that brought me out of a very dark place. Makes me cry to think about, how close I was to ending everything. I'm not ashamed to say it, music not only changed my life but it saved it too.
The other is a Ming Jiang Zhu. Not sure of the model no. but it runs in around 2 grand. Of all the violins I've been fortunate enough to play, the Ming family rules. Highly recommended.
So I still play and will continue to play as long as I can draw a breath. This is my passion.
BUT,,,, there is a banjo that I have wanted forever. A long neck banjo with an old time sound. The one I have had my eye on is a gold tone mastertone ot800ln long neck open back with a tubaphone tone ring. Runs 1500$ usd new. I don't care about new and never have. It's all about the sound for me. Can it make you cry? That's all I care about in my instruments. That's how I pick them out. And it has paid off in the last couple years. I would definitely give someone a deal on a trade for this banjo or one that is very similar like the old Vega Long necks.
I definitely have a violin I that would cover the cost of a new one, and a sax, and a bass, wink wink.
So I will do my best to get all these pics posted under this forum topic. And I deeply appreciate you for reading this far. If nothing else, that means the world to me, thank you.

This is an unlabeled violin from China. It comes from the luthier Roy Chen. His violins typically sell on ebay for 275 usd plus shipping, for a total of 350 use. They play wonderfully with unique voices. I do recommend these violins for students on up through intermediate.
I'm asking 225 USD plus shipping. I also have the sister to this one with similar carving in a red finish.
I have an Amati built by Roy Chen for my personal use that sounds like an old record player under ear. It doesn't have a label and doesn't seem to care. It just plays beautifully.
I'm sure these others will also.
