Hey all! I've been helping a coworker go through decades of stuff she's collected & inherited, and am having a blast learning new stuff about all kinds of old things.
She has an amazing Vuillaume violin with a case, bows & all kinds of accessories. Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume was quite the famous French instrument-maker, and I've come to learn that this is the 1930s "Vuillaume A Paris" violin that was sold in catalogs like Sears Roebuck & Montgomery Ward. It belonged to my friend's father, and he purchased it at some point in the 1930s, and she remembers him playing it off and on, well into the 1950s or 1960s. She has decided it's finally time to let it go, so I figured I'd try to showcase it around in case it sparks an interest.
Anyway, it's rolling on eBay through Sunday 7/29/2012, and is very competitively priced for everything that comes with this gorgeous instrument...

Thanks for listening!
