How will a fiddle like this one sound?

I would love to try it for the fun of it but who has that kind of money for experimenting?

Link to this fiddle on Ebay

LOL, a soap dish. Maybe our soap dishes look like violins.

rofl

More than anything else, I am curious about the sound of these shapes. I checked out the links that I think Cat put up on the forum where the maker has experimented with some unique shapes.

I look at this violin and wonder what it would sound like.

I think it's pretty ... soap dish or not.

I also think it would help my E string playing as well.

Anything's gotta sound better than I do at the moment.

If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

It looks like a fiddle Venus Di Milo would play, or Sigmund the Sea Monster, made from shells...dredged up from the deep (:

It probably sounds pretty decent considering a pochette is smaller in width and sounds good.

Wow... that is very different! I agree with Late Bloomer and Barry, though. Not my style. xD

It looks like it would be very heavy. And I don't know if I could hold it right. Does the kun fit on it?? LOL
