After receiving a few requests I made this video on playing Lux Aeterna on the violin. At first I felt as though the piece was not well suited to being played solo. However, after looking at it I changed my mind and came to the conclusion that it will make a great etude for fourth finger strengthening. It also helps with coordination between the left and right hands. Practice the sixteenth notes slowly and keep the fingers close to the string. Try to hear the first part in your head while playing the 16ths for better rhythm. This piece is also perfect to play if you have a loop pedal or effect box. ENJOY!!!
