Follow Fiddlerman’s explanation of how to play the Orange Blossom Special on the violin. Learn some simple tricks to help you sound great.
When crossing the strings quickly it is important to keep the bow angle as close to the change as possible. Also it is important to use the lower half of the bow for less right arm travel distances. The higher on the bow you play the more movement necessary to change strings. Practice the rhythms slowly with patience until they speed up naturally.
