This tutorial demonstrates how to play the natural notes in first position on the violin/fiddle E-string. Practice playing the five notes slowly while listening very carefully to each and every tone. Concentrate on the tone production and be your own teacher. If a note sounds bad, experiment with different bow pressure, speed, contact areas between the bridge and fingerboard, etc. As usual, I am happy to answer any questions.
Remember to relax, not squeeze or use unnecessary force or pressure.
