I just discovered this and it is now my favorite channel "fiddlecam" on youtube.  Neat view of different scenes set to various tunes.  Thought after this hot summer the snow may be something to look forward to..yes?  well maybe fer a day or so.

gregW - ItSO COOL!  That Fiddler has more faith in her skis than I would!  I'd definitely have to purchase some Fiddle Insurance...

It's very hot & humid here, but at least we haven't had the extended power outages or "Brown Outs" of the past few years!

ahh..you must be in Cali?

hey if you liked that one go check out her channel and watch the hawkcam title.  she has a hawk on the violin scroll while she plays through a tune.  the fiddle for cows video is fun for  watching how they react.

GregW - The Sun Is Out SmileyIt's actually nice here in Michigan today - only 77°F now and the humidity dropped from 94% this morning down to 63% (cid- you'll probably have this tomorrow)!

Thanks for bringing attn to Louise Bichan - nice to hear how Fiddlers that have to cancel their gigs (because of Covid-19) deal with their time.  I will ck out her other videos.

Great strobe effect on the A string! D is about 600Hz, so perhaps the camera's sampling rate is 100Hz.

ha you noticed that too!  yeah that was pretty cool that the camera caught it.  reminded me of another video someone posted where they put the camera inside a guitar looking up out of the sound hole.

ive not seen that.  at firat i just thought it was the bass vibrations doing that.  the man inside must have some outstanding hearing protection.  or was all that effects added to the door?  couldnt understand what the chainsaw type sound was.  i assumed it was vibration of the car parts.

It's not the best such video I've seen, but basically it's very loud bass shaking the doors plus inadvertent strobe from the camera. I was going to apologise to whomever for the thread drift, but I see it's yours!

It's been nice here in northern Ohio the past couple days, too. Looking forward to some rain, I'm so tired of the humidity and heat and drought.

@ABitRusty LOL, that's the way it was here earlier in the year, then someone turned the water faucet off, lol. Finally getting some nice rain today, and I think it's actually in the forecast for a few days.
