Fiddlershop’s Excellent Packaging of Books (An explanation point to their already known excellent customer service.)
You don’t have to worry about receiving bent books when you order them from the Fiddlershop. Your books arrive carefully packed, and flat as a pancake.

It will not surprise those of us who know Fiddlershop’s care and expert customer service to read what I have to say about my recent book purchase.

Every time I order a music book online, elsewhere, I received a curved book, or a book with out and out bent corners, sometimes, big bends. I never receive a nice flat book. Well, fear no more!

I ordered two books for my cello lessons from the Fiddlershop. This is now my goto place to order books. If they have it, If not, sadly, I check other places. My package arrived last week and I was floored. My books came packaged very securely. There was absolutely no way the delivery company was going to curl that package or bend that package.

My books were sandwiched between two stiff pieces of cardboard. Not flimsy pieces, they were stiff sturdy pieces. It had “Fragile”, “Do Not Bend” on the completely sealed outside packaging. It had labels reading, “Handle With Care” on the inside cardboard protecting the books. My two books were tightly sandwiched between the cardboard pieces. Some of the other books that I have ordered elsewhere had the same cautions on the outside, but not packed as if they needed protecting from curls and bends. Consequently, those books would arrive damaged.

These books were flat as a pancake. They were never opened. The books were very obviously brand new. Many times I order a book elsewhere and it looks like the book was at least thumbed through, not used, but not flat like it was just off the press and never opened. These books were never opened.

I am attaching photos of the outside packaging.

For those of you reading as guests of this forum, this is not being posted because of this forum use. I support local or brick and mortar businesses first. My books could not be purchased here or within driving distance. Next, I go to Mom and Pop businesses that have online service. This is one of those. It was started by the Fiddlerman, not a chain store or warehouse. I have found extraordinary customer service of quality merchandise here, at fantastic prices. We are not asked to put comments here, but as I said, I support the Mom and Pops online before chains. The big win for me is that it is also a brick and mortar, which I also support. Therefore, when I am pleased, and can do it, I let people know. It does not matter if it is a large purchase (my Fiddlershop Concert Deluxe Violin) or my smaller purchases (these books), I look here first, and I know even smaller purchases get the care that shows they appreciate you.
