Barry you should join them not just go see them.

One thing I have to mention is the chin rests on their violins. It seems today all violins come with the same chin rest yet if you look they all hold the violin over the tail piece which seems to be the more common way today. Will they ever give you a choice?

I did have some picture's of a chin rest on one of my violin's. I built up the chin rest about 5/16" to 3/8", then I slid the chin rest bracket/clamp to the right side of the tail piece which put the chin rest itself over top of the tail piece. It was comfortable playing with it like that, but actually the chin rest was a bit to high for comfort.

I found the pic's, let me see if they will attach to this post or if I have to put them in a seperate post. I don't know why I can't attach them here.

The chin rest clamped to the table is the original rest from my 130 year old fiddle.
