Thanks greg, I really miss playing along with other people in a nice cosy room, most of my friends who play instruments now live away unfortunately, one is even in Russia in St Petersburg believe it or not, at one time we had regular parties at my friends big old victorian house were there would be about 10 people all playing different instruments at once, it was chaotic with people falling over drunk, but it was great fun, I always played guitar and sang, violin isnt really my instrument at all, I enjoy it, dont know if I could play along with it, dont know if I have the skill, but I really miss singing.

well..time for some new jam buddies!   I think if youre playing just 2 or 3 even..by memorization you should give it a go.  kesh seems to be one of those standard need to know tunes everyone plays.  sorta like an angeline the baker of old time maybe...lol

now ive not been to Ireland or anything so could just be the local thing.  everyone may grumble and give the stink eye if you play it elsewhere.  😀

Unless you play oasis tunes in Ireland no one is interested, and thats the truth lol.
