So, coming from a background of seven years of guitar that I muddled along learning; I've decided to learn to play the violin. I never learned music theory or notation/sight reading until this instrument, and after two weeks, I'm able to write, transpose, read and play the violin. Much of what I really need now is to work on my technique. My first video here is a small run in the G major scale that I wrote down (maybe it's not original, but I know not.) and played. Any insight is welcome! Thanks!

Quite lovely. I noticed your vibrato. Very nice. I normally would be jealous but I am being zen right now..so jealousy is not allowed... ha ha..
Keep up the good work.. I liked you G-scale, tune. Thanks for posting. I am not one to give a lot of advice just yet, but I will tell you that I would have loved to play something so pretty my first two weeks.

Looks and sounds like it's going well. I haven't even been playing a whole 2 yrs myself, yet, so I'll leave actual critique to those with enough years to know what they're talking about.
But you look relaxed and at ease with the instrument and like your attention was well focused.
