Look at a vid fer bow re-hairing first ...then try to push the ferrel back into possition if you feel comfortable with it ...may need to use a non marring tool like a pop sickle stick

If the wooden wedge under the hair protrudes too much , you can push it back in as well if it was not glued in ...violin-1267if it gives you any trouble , might consider returning it

Have fun    Be happy

hmmmm.... i was trying your advice but the ferrel seems to be glued to everything but the base so when i tighten the bow that part bends. sadly im going to have to return it. i do like how it makes my preludes sound though! haha

Sorry, I just saw this post.
Of course, you need only call us. We'll ship you a new one and give you a return slip for the other.
Sorry for the trouble. The Fiddlerman Carbon Fiber bows are much better IMAO. :)

too easy, the bow is making its way back. on the plus side, my zyex strings came in today, and they are awesome! no more overly metallic sound when i play! they have a rather warm sound to them that i really enjoy

Sounds like a great plan. Look forward to that post :)

Happy that you are getting the FM Carbon Fiber bow too. You'll love it.
