What a pleasure to read about you with my coffee this am.
I enjoyed your interview as much as I enjoy your presence her in the forum. I am so so very glad to have met you and to be able to share this journey.
Say hello to Bertie for me.
I don't play too much Blue Grass or fiddle tunes... but I did get started on some. I am determined to play Midnight on the Water. I LOVE LOVE that tune.
Wonderful interview!

Vibrato Desperato.... Desperately seeking vibrato

Great interview, @Schaick - thank you! I'm always interested to know where the inspiration to play fiddle ( well, any instrument, really ) comes from !
It's good to have the opportunity to perform to an audience - my own mind set about that is "I'm really playing this for myself" - and hopefully if I don't fluff it too much - the audience will be appreciative and get some degree of enjoyment from listening.
And great on overcoming the stage-fright, well done !
Alley Cat indeed - that takes me back LOL - cool ! Sometimes there are songs I had forgotten I knew, if you know what I mean. That one put a smile on my face this morning.
Keep playing old Bertie, and posting your pieces for our enjoyment !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)
