great idea but it may prohibit some members from joining in, everyone on here is at different levels of learning, and spring is an intermediate piece, so while it may be ok for some, for others it may not be so easy, myself included, Andrew H could play it for a laugh, bur others would struggle, for instance there is quite a lot of third position playing , and 32nd notes, like I said great idea though.

I didnt know there were easy versions of it and thats the truth, the one you posted is the ⁰first one I have ever seen. I bought my sheet for this over a year ago and am working on it when the mood for a headache overtakes me;)
Vivaldi wrote it with the intention of mimicing bird song which is why there are so many third position 32nd notes and ĺtrills.

For some reason I cant find a hard version. I want to learn the solo version.
i bought mine from Amazon, it was a bit pricey cost me 12 quid though, which I think is a bit steep, but then again I am very tight. May still be on there if you give it a look.

Think you are all forgetting a few important points.
1.) When Fiddlerman arranges music for a GP, he ALWAYS makes sure there are easy parts, along with more challenging ones - so it's fine to pick a little more difficult piece for a GP!
2.) A 'Fiddlerman' GP depends solely on how busy Fiddlerman is.
3.) but, ANYONE can take it upon themselves to create a Group Project!
- if they are willing to learn about what is involved,
- are willing to do the necessary work,
- have the computer resources,
- AND have enough people interested in participating, to make it worthwhile.
...keep in mind - many members of this forum may not play Classical music as much as other styles.

IMSLP has several editions, most of which have clearer typesetting than what's on Musescore.
