We just had our Summer Chamber Group concert the other day and wanted to share.

This was bucket list thing for me and it was so much fun. I recommend this for everyone to do. There was a mix of new and veteran musicians and we had such a good time together. Find a group in your area and join it or start one up! Not only was it nice to play with others I learned so much and was really motivated to practice and do my best.

You know, maybe we can do something here? The group projects that @Fiddlerman does here would be perfect I think. We have violin, viola and cellists here...

What do you guys think? A chamber group project?

Why not??? It's easy enough to do. 😁

You start it and I'll mix it.

@Heinrich

Very Nice!!!!! I really enjoyed listening to this. I agree with you - It really is nice playing with others!

I'm doing a Chamber Intensive this week......2 hours every night, plus practice during the day to learn the music for a concert tomorrow. Holy cow, I now understand why it's called an "Intersive"!!!! But I am loving it. Learning to play together is a challenge, but it has really improved my musicianship. The hardest part for me is to only have my part as opposed to the full score. As a singer, your choral music contains the other voice parts as well as the accompaniment, so it has been a rude awakening to not have it for my Chamber Intensive group.

Thanks for sharing your experience!
