Part 5 IS suitable for someone with only a small amount of
experience and well worth a try by a beginner.
The hardest part my be the timing, but if you know where the FMajor
notes are it can be worked out.

Before I set a deadline I want to make sure that we have a good click. Is this click acceptable for everyone or should I make it a little slower?

I hadn't planned on participating in the new project because I've been busy with other (non-violin) things. Just for fun, I printed out the music a couple of days ago, and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I'm not quite up to 120 bpm, but I can probably get there shortly. I love the arrangement. It's really fun!

120 is ok for me but if others would like it a little slower, I'm flexible.

(at 120 I can get past the duff notes quicker, wahaa!)

Great. Two votes to keep the tempo as is. I think we will just go with that.
Thanks

Do you have software where one can increase the tempo without making the notes pitch highr? I seem to Vaguely remember seeing something about this.

Woot Terry! cheerleader Hey it's a great idea you have there, far easier to follow then with just the click track, well for me anyway am not good yet with counting. I'll put that in my ipod when I practice maybe I'll struggle less!

Question: are you playing in your closet? I see lots of clothes dunno heehee smile

Sounded good, Terry, from what I could hear you. Your MP3 was a little too loud, it drownd you out somewhat.

I gotta tell ya,,,,,, you sure are working hard at this project.     dancing

haha, it used to be my study, and now my g/f has moved in, my house is now in the loft and the rest of the house has become her closet (wardrobes, as we call them here!)

The click track won't load for me.  I'll try again later.

Merci.  It took some doing because I have no computer savvy, but I got it to work:

That's how I did it, anyway.

Great Terry. That's what I'm talking about. Thanks for keeping the project alive. I fear that many are afraid of it. I promise to make the next project much more applicable to everyone on this site with varying parts and levels.

One suggestion, and it's for everyone, is to focus on intonation. Sometimes we get so caught up on the technical difficulty of what we are doing that we don't listen to ourselves enough.

Great job, keep up the great work.
