💥💥💥I did find a wonderful site dedicated to Bulgarian (and Balkan) folk tunes - that explained some ornamentation to expect, but not see in notation!

This website is set up to provide sheet music and background information on folk music, often from Bulgaria and other Balkan countries, and sometimes from other regions.

Each article contains sheet music and music examples. This way you can hear exactly what the sheet music is based on, because reading notes alone does not work well with folk music. The sheet music only serves as a memory aid!

All sheet music is downloadable and printable. The music examples are mostly on YouTube, which is freely available to everyone.
