Hey everyone my name is Marc and just did my first post about the history an resto of my grandfather`s Violin in  The Violin section of the forum.

I am a drummer and I enjoy messing around with old drums and getting them looking and sounding their best,I love it when old instruments are able to make music again.I have decent knowledge about old drums but researching a violin just to have some basic knowledge about construction was really overwhelming, talk about going down a rabbit hole!

I thought I would post here because it seems to a good forum with a good vibe and I thought people would enjoy the story of my Grandad's violin.Check it out if you like and any comments appreciated.
