I think you will enjoy your new viola. There is a forum section called “Viola” in the “Instruments and Equipment” section. The “Viola” is below “Violin”. That would be a great place to request help with your shoulder rest, chin rest, etc. It is a new section and there are no posts there yet, which is why I am pointing it out. 

In your meandering of the forum, don’t forget “Viola Talk” towards the bottom.
