Hello, 
I just wanted to introduce myself and Mouse so graciously helped me out :-).
I am an adult intermediate violinist who is anxious to receive advice, tips, suggestions, or even a good laugh! I picked up a violin in my mid 30's and taught myself how to play through videos on YouTube! LOL... Once in a while I will take private lessons. I found that I learn better by ear than reading sheet music. Occasionally, I play with my church band and trying to gain enough confidence to be able to play a solo. All in all I want to do all that I can to better my craft.
I look forward to chatting with each of you! 😀

I learn mostly by ear, too - what kind of music do you like?
The Party Room was started to help members get over being nervous when recording & I think it can also be helpful for live performance jitters. Feel free to join in any of the older Parties or start one of your own. The more you do, the easier it gets - just use a video of yourself playing. 🤗
You can also join in the Wexford Carol Group Project, if you want to!
