Hello, the click track audio is at what tempo? To practice a bit with the metronome? Thanks!

@maudmaud  I checked the All-parts click track to my metronome app--it is 46 BPM.

Question for the cellists...I think the alternative cello part is easier for a beginner, rather than the other? What do you think ?

I only see one cello part. I am very confused now. Not good.

https://fiddlerman.com/wp-cont.....-Cello.pdf

https://fiddlerman.com/wp-cont.....-Score.pdf

Aren't these cello pieces the same?

But in answer to the question, I think it depends on the individual cellist. I have problems with many other pieces others find easy, and I find some pieces easy that others have issues with. It is this way with the viola, violin and many other things not music related. Sometimes things that others find hard, I find easy. So, I think it depends on the individual.

That made may be an earlier sheet? I don't see that one anymore, There seems to be just one cello sheet. Back on the first page of this topic, post #5 Fiddlerman says to redownload the cello sheet music. I vaguely remember seeing what you posted above. At that point I decided I was not going to participate because I could not do that, no way, and none of the violin or viola parts were doable, either.

Then later, Fiddlerman posted the post #5 with instructions to redownload the cello part. He said he made important changes. The part you posted in the reply above, as far as I can see, is no longer showing in the score sheets,

I am very confused what we are supposed to use if we are doing cello, now. Which is the good one? If not the one I linked to, what is the link to the other, not for me, because it is not doable, but for others,

Sorry @maudmaud - Just one cello part. It will sound better that way. Sometimes an instrument has to be sacrificial, such as is the case in Pachabels' Canon.🤣

Not good that you are confused? or that you only see one part.

I didn't like the sound of the moving cello part in this particular mix. I prefer the bottom part.

Aren't these cello pieces the same?

I believe they are the same unless I screwed up. All the parts were redone after the first release.

Sorry for disappointing some of you, but I believe that this will be for the best in the end.

Ok, I have the right download and there is only one cello part, so I am good. I just can't play it. I am having a terribly hard time.

My lessons rarely used the C string. I always have problems with a waltz. I spent an hour in it again today, my bowing arm was hurting, so Imhad to stop. No improvement, whatsoever,

@Fiddlerman I might have to PM you a couple questions about it in a couple days after I give it another go. 😇

Hi all, I wanted to ask if you tune your violin to 440 HZ or 442? Thanks. Looking forward to participating 🙂.

I've posted some video play-alongs, in case someone finds them useful to practice with:

https://vimeopro.com/sharonlc/.....xfordcarol

In addition to a video for each individual part, I've got videos for the Violins 2, 3, 4, Viola 2, 3, 4 & Cello with an audio of Violin1 or Viola1 (playing more softly).

If there is a combination that I don't have posted that you want (e.g., something without metronome, something with different instrument combo/visual, different volume, etc.,) let me know, & I'll post it.

@SharonC The play-alongs are fantastic! Still can't play it, but I know that how I was thinking it should be played was right. Thanks.
