It seems this section of the forums hardly gets used anymore, so maybe this will just get lost. But in case people check, this is a video of Scottish singer/songwriter/musician Hannah Read jamming on her fiddle with Paul Rudd Jennings on the cajon, which I'd never heard of before but I guess is a type of drum.
I've always loved irish/scottish/bluegrass music, especially played by fiddle, but it was when I found this video that I finally decided to learn the instrument. I don't have goals of winning awards for my playing; I just want to make music and have fun doing it, either by myself or if I ever find friends to jam with (eventually). I often listen to this video on repeat because I love the song and I love the way it makes me feel. That's the feeling I want to be able to reproduce myself someday.

Oh very nice. Lots of feeling the way they played it. I originally started off learning Celtic music but seem to have shifted over to more bluegrass and old timey music.
Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.
