Been coming across some new (to me) music - this from Kíla, but they've been around for a bit so maybe you've heard their music?

Anyway, thought I'd share a concert from 2013 - for any of you that are feeling cooped up, like me.

Have you seen Hilary Hahn play her violin while using a hula hoop?  Maybe she decided to take it a step further... inspired by this concert!

LOVE Kíla's "And Fox Ate Nandy's Red Shoe" - post #51 (plus link to sheet music), here:

Kila provided the music for the 2020 animated film, "Wolfwalkers" - part of a GREAT trilogy, but I haven't seen it because I don't use Apple TV.

I have seen the other 2 and highly recommend: "The Song of The Sea" and "The Secret Of Kells" - great stories, great music & a visual delight (available now on Amazon Prime)!

"Mébh's Tune" is an example of one of Kila's tunes I like from "Wolfwalkers"

Here's the sheet music from thesession.org - to use as a guide:

"Wolfwalker's Reel" (aka. Mébh's Tune) by Kila - Sheet Music

Link to ALL the music from "Wolfwalkers":

Yes, I'm going to learn this by ear, because the phrasing is unique when Kila plays it - use the video audio to start training yourself!
