Well... I am sure I can add in four measures.. right.. I am seasoned...
I know a few had mentioned it in the past, since I only was familiar with a bit of the song, it didn't bother me, but you know.. I can't go around playing it differently than the group.. or can I... ? Maybe I am turning into a rebel. ha ha (hardly)

Aloha @Fiddlerman,
(in my best Australian accent) Good on 'ya Mate! I was able to play the Theme from Godfather and my wife is really pleased. Now, if I can only get to where I sound like the soundtrack ....
Anyway, thanks again. I'm at the point where I can play the notes, but I can't really play the music, if you know what I mean. Of course, I always use the practice mute constantly, so I really don' know how I really sound. Still, I'm building up my repertoire. I have Amazing Grace (the easy version), Ashokan Farewell, and now the Theme from Godfather. Thanks!

Congrats @iBud ...
Godfather is one of my go to songs. I have never printed out the sheet for the corrected/ updated version. I am glad you posted. I will print it out.
It is my go to song.. and it was a good song to play.. even in my beginning stages it was recognizable.. now it just gets better. I also find the tempo is "flexible" in my mind depending on my mood. It is fun to play it smooth.. or actually play it sort of gritty and old.
It is one of my favorite. It would be a rare day for me not to play Godfather on the violin. I have been playing it daily for over a year.
