What a practice!

Unfortunately the last week was a bit patchy as far as violin practice went but the last couple of days I've got to it and today I made a break through.

I have ascended from the step of slightly bouncy and fairly screechy terribleness to the step of no bouncy lovely floaty feeling only slightly screechy terribleness!

Through one of those joyous moments where after doing something for hours and hours suddenly, without thinking about it, you do it a little different and immediately wonder why the hell you were so bad for all those hours before.

I feel like I just cycled my first few feet or juggled my first three balls.

God I hope I haven't forgotten it by tomorrow. More than ever I didn't want to stop playing today!

Thanks Naska,

I took a look at He's a Pirate, I then made a noise like 'eeek' closed the page and went on back to 'Over the rainbow'

I will be making another video this weekend Terry, I've meant to for the last few weeks but sadly life keeps getting the way. Last weekend for instance I did no violin, but I did build a green house. Which thinking about it I need to glaze this weekend. But I will make a video this weekend I have promised my self. I dread to think what horrible habits I am teaching my self without input from others!

I'll take a look at the the other parts Naska and if I think I can contribute anything worth adding I'll try and make time to record something :)

I've had another look at He's a Pirate and determined that you are 'having a laugh' It's far too long I will never remember it all! I can't play from music at the mo I can't read it fast enough :(

Part 5 looks long til You realise more Than half can be played on open D.
Have another look at it. I'm going to post a vid of me practicing it, so you can have a look at that before you decide.
(I reckon part 4 is above me, but I'll have a crack at that too.
My biggest problem is hitting notes on the F Major scale, doh!)
