Meta-learning is a process of learning quickly just about anything. He applied it to learning to cook like a chef. It can be applied to anything even music and instruments. Its about deconstructing techniques to find the 20 percent of information that produces 80 percent of the results. Thats the theory anyways. Its not a replacement for practice, rather a way of focused practice.
