What's the technique he used starting from 1:45, is it chords or is it something like triads? I think this technique would be useful for any band member. Thanks :)

I think I saw a glissando or two.  Is that what you're seeing?

I think you're right, Gail..... I saw a couple glissando's myself. There may have been more but it was hard to tell with the camera angle's changing so much, it all happened so fast.

Oh thanks all of you! I really need to take some music lesson this summer because there's a lot of 'musical words'(is that what you call it? lol) that I'm not familiar and I don't understand.

btw, thanks FM for the tutorial :D for glissando, oh yeah I got it! it's 16th note2x then sudden glissando, am I ryt?

. Most of the lead guitarist are doing that, it's a must learn.

Oh God, my problem now is to play in tune w/ a group of 16th or even 8th notes, is it something about scales?

It might be. You need to have the patterns working. Make sure you practice slowly before working up the tempo. Also, don't lift your fingers too high.
