Hi all fiddlers...Missed you all! Just got home late last night from a band tour (just 3 n 1/2 weeks, playing lead guitar for a heavy rock band). The tour is not done yet but I'm home for a few days. I chose to just stay offline and focus on playing my guitar. I sure missed my violins and will be practicing all day today and tomorrow. I wish there was more days in a week for sure, life as a musician takes a lot of dedication and the rewards will follow.

More posts to come.... 😉jimi-hendrix

Thanks Cat...I can't wait for Ruby!!! I visited your blog as well today to see how things are going and that Utah project looks pretty cool. I'm bringing a fiddle and my laptop on the next few gigs. I just played some scales and jamin' a bit on one of my Cecilios and it feels great.

By the way peeps, my Grandmother passed away 2 days ago. Heck, she lived almost 110yrs and I don't know the difference between happy or sad right now (I just found out today that she passed on). I'll be playing guitar and fiddle at her memorial. She gave me my Viking blood... Love ya Grandma!

My condolences on the loss of your Granny. 110 years! What a great lifespan!

I'm not going to do anything with the Utah fiddle until Ruby is finished smile Darned thing stinks so much it makes me sneeze just to hold it at this point anyway.

Sorry to hear about your grandma. I know what you mean about not knowing how to feel about it right now. She had an incredibly long life and that must mean that she did things right. Congratulations for having that kind of blood in you. smile

well maybe you could share a few minutes of those MANY HOURS with us here on the forum.

Can't wait to hear a seasoned student of the violin.
