A family of foxes have made my yard a night-time playground.  Would much rather have them than the two armadillos that I had last year that tore up my yard.

I made a video from some of my security camera footage of them.

THEY ARE SO CUTE!

Thank you - that was fun to watch!

Last year, saw a photo of a fox sunning itself on top of a neighbor's detached garage, but we haven't actually seen any in our yard - only raccoons & opossums, lately.

@ABitRusty  I knew momma fox was jumping over the fence to get into the backyard, but I was surprised to see her just walking along the top of the fence like a cat.

@ELCBK  I see opossums every once in a while.  I've only seen a raccoon once in the time I've been here in GA, about 2 years ago.

Except for the one clip with momma fox & kits during the day, I've only seen the kits at night.  I've seen momma a few times during the day - she'll stop and look at me, give a little "yip" and then moves on.  Sounds like a small dog yip - definitely not like those Norwegian guys seem to think the fox sounds like smile

Wish the raccoons around us were afraid of people - neighbors had them going in their pet door.  Think I've mentioned before about Kevin sitting on the front deck with a little 'hand' slowly reaching up from underneath.

Think the Ylvis folks watched a little too much Crazy Frog!

Foxes are so pretty. I wish my daughter had those instead if the bears, mountain lions, bobcats and slugs the size of an adult fist.

Adding a few photos... if you don't mind (?)

Doe & her faun outside my window in the neighbor's yard, today.  Kevin took the photo while he was on the lawn mower - mowing! 🙄

3 Raccoon youngsters, 2 were on the garage roof & 1 on the deck (my deck & house need some TLC!), end of last month.

Fox on the detached garage roof of neighbors around the corner - taken last year.

We've had coyotes in the area, still plenty of bunnies, several kinds of squirrels, saw my woodchucks, opposums, and unfortunately... skunks, just no photos.

Love the foxes! I live in a very small town, Marion, South Carolina which was named after Francis Marion "The Swamp Fox".  There are foxes all over town, the local high school mascot is even the Swamp Fox. You can find fox images and business names with fox in them throughout town.
