Thanks, everyone!

So sorry I'm almost a month late seeing this. Even in these unusual times, I've been busy musically, so I've been remiss in checking in here.

Since the COVID shutdown, I've gotten involved in jamming online on a platform called JamKazam, which lets musicians play together in time remotely (not possible on platforms like Zoom). If you haven't already, I recommend checking it out.

I've connected with some nice folks on JamKazam who have similar musical interests.

Also, my band has been practicing on JK, which helped us prepare for our one gig (outdoors and distanced) that wasn't canceled this summer. We're also working on new material.

I've been playing mandolin and guitar a lot lately, but I pick up my fiddle whenever I can. I took up a new instrument during the shutdown, as well: the ubass (bass ukulele). With it's rubber strings and an amp, it sounds very close to an upright bass.

Anyway, thanks again for the birthday wishes! If anyone here is on JamKazam and would like to jam sometime, let me know.

When the work's all done and the sun's settin' low,

I pull out my fiddle and I rosin up the bow.
