I just wanted to let those I have emailed, that I have noticed in my copies of sent emails, some punctuations are replaced with question marks. These are not odd punctuations being replaced. I just sent one and the actual typed email before sending was fine. In the sent box the apostrophe was replaced with a question mark. This has happened before. Sometimes a question mark is added before the first letter of the body text of the email, but not always.

I checked around and found out that it is an ongoing issue with google mail, or at least the app. It might be only when not using a gmail address with the gmail app, and/or Apple/Google incompatibility, not sure. But, the solution is to turn off the smart punctuation in settings/keyboard in the Apple Device, if this is happening to you. This is with Apple devices, not sure about others. This has been going in for a few years now, from what I found out. 

I just wanted to let you know that it is not me. I do have typos, but I am not using question marks where they should not be. It is not visible until it is in my sent box. It is very annoying to have proofread and proofread and see that question mark as the very first character and apostrophes replaced by question marks. 

I did not type this to start an Apple Google debate or conversation, I just wanted to let you all know, in case you are having this sort of issue.
