@stringy I thought about NY NY. It is about New York City. Not being from New York City, we who don't live in the city, do not like to give that impression, 😂. We always have to say, New York, the STATE, not the city, 😂😂😂. Where I am we don't even like to be referred to as "Upstate". That is a completely different area. People think if you aren't the city, you are Upstate, nope. 😁
Plus, it (the song) has swing, which I have none of.
I did love NYC the 3 times I was there. I would love to go back, sometime.

No need for me to redo my school song I posted earlier, I did do it right. I am not hearing the extra notes anymore. Odd. I think I was listening to one of the versions on my pad, not what I posted here, most likely. Since I was doing it from memory, I had many versions and added and changed, but kept the early ones for reference. The posted ones are correct, to the best of my memory.

I really love that tune. I seem to be drawn to tunes with a defined melody and not a lot of fast notes. Fast ones can sound good, and I like hearing them, but they make no sense to me. A melody like this is easy to follow and enjoy. The notes are more connected or relevant to each other, to me. I hope that makes sense, but I really like that melody.

Okay, loving this all. Nice jobs, Stringy, Mouse, and aBitRusty! Love it!
I started working "Detroit Rock City" up a bit on the bridge section, and then realized, there was a much better one I can try this weekend if I can manage to work it out.
In the meantime, I guess I can share the little bit of DRC I worked out.
