This party is a theme – here is a link for the Wikipedia description of a Ganglat:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.....ngl%C3%A5t

The name of the one I’ve played is Ganglat fran appelbo.

https://drive.google.com/file/.....sp=sharing

So, for this party, you can play this one, or choose another.  I’ve attached a copy of this version, but use whatever--

That was WONDERFUL!

I remember this from the Nordic thread and I haven't played a Gånglåt.

So, you know I can't pass this up.

I'll be joining you!

@Little Prairie Girl -

You might like to come to this Party, too!

Struggled with the timing greg ,, I am not used to it. I only read it through once then played it, enjoyable doing different types of music though, (I am not the worlds best at reading music either lol).

Furious with myself for going Back to sawing again as well, probably because of concentrating to hard, in a way though its good because I can now hear how badly it immediately affects the sound😭

You did a great job on this!

I'm very envious - I can't pick up anything that quickly!

Sorry for the misunderstanding - wasn't what I meant.

So, I rewrote it better -

I just found out I have sheet music for this in my "Scandinavian Fiddle Tunes" book by Vicki Swan.

1st fiddle and 2nd fiddle with ornaments notated!

PM me if anyone's interested.

Btw, nothing wrong with the sheet music Sharon attached.

So FUN!

I almost forgot where I was while listening to this. (lol)

Liked the droning and... ooooh, some fancy bowing there!

Really enjoyed this, but who's shirt is that?

That was really well played!

You help make this another great Party!

Definitely enjoyed your ornaments!

I can't keep up with you - got sidetracked with your Movie-themed Party. (lol)

🤔 Decided to try a different Gånglåt (maybe Hammares) - not a lot of sheet music available for these walking tunes...

Ilona,

You sounded great!  I’ve got to catch up on the parties—got to settle on a movie theme—
