Thank you everyone! 😊
@Mark If you buy a cello, I very warmly welcome you to the cello gang! 🤗
Who wants to be next trying this tune?

Very nice @SharonC and @Ilona !
This has made me tragically aware of how ignorant I am of Scandinavian music, and perhaps I should correct that.

Sorry I'm so late to the Party, but since it was allowed, I wanted to try a different one!
Here's my attempt at "Hammares Gånglåt".
Fun Party - my 1st Gånglåt!

Oh, wow, @ELCBK !! 😍 I really, really like this one! Great job! I can see why you like this style music so much, it’s a real joy to watch when you play these tunes. ❤️

@SharonC -
Thank you!
Here's the video I learned this from, which I obviously took extreme liberties. 🤣
Hammares Gånglåt - Kalle & Jonas Liljeberg
I'm positive you all can do something great with this!
Great Party, Sharon... even more Gånglåts to be explored!

@wtw -
THESE ARE FANATASTIC!
Beautiful Playing!
I'm so glad you revived this Party.
Where did you find "Mockfjard" & "Ulysse"?
Never heard them before and I LOVE them both.
You've made my Holidays extra-festive - hope yours are, too!
...definitely renewed my interest in Gånglåt. 🤗
THANK YOU!
- Emily

@wtw - really nice tunes, I like them !!!
And nicely played through ! I like the "movement" as you play - I tend to do the same, it brings a unique and personal expression into the playing!
TY for posting - and I might even try to just pick-up the first one "by ear" - well - something to do over the holiday period ! Hahahaha! TY again !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -
Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

@ELCBK I just searched for "Ganglat" on Youtube back then, and those two came up in the results (here and here ; I use them as backing tracks).
@BillyG I can't help moving. This might interest you, I'm noticing a violin slow version has been posted on YT recently. Her version has two parts, mine was just the first half.
@SharonC @ABitRusty @Mark thank ye! I prefer the first one myself 😉 I don't really know what to do with "Ulysse", it's a bit long. I actually have no idea what the name of this song is - "Ulysse" is the name of the CD, not the title of the track. Or the title of the track may just be "Ganglat"…
