I’ve been playing violin for two years this month ! I have a new tripod for filming and I think my videos are better quality ! So thank you for the tips. To celebrate all of the above I’m starting a Beetles party! If you don’t have too much on, I’d love to see any Beetles piece !

So glad I look more relaxed in my playing thank you RDP ! I’m pleased the quality is a lot better as well and thanks abitrusty mouse and maudmaud would love to see anything you do ! I think my playing isn’t musical like it’s not tuneful if that’s even a word. Something to work on. Looking forward to seeing others.

Good job from you two, and nice party! There's plenty to choose from, I had a lot of fun with those accompaniments.
Here's the one I chose. Definitely not at ease with that lower register, I cheated and went up an octave in the end.

Great tunes and playing everyone.
Katie your improvement is really good, especially since you ditched the tapes and the tuners.
Your intonation is very good indeed, I can hear the notes ring on almost every bow stroke, for me hearing that is real pleaure, which I suspect you also hear and are very pleased with,

I will probably do yesterday, was going to do something else but I was beat to it, so I will get that one together in next few days if I get the time, just learned it on the mando five minutes ago, having a bit of neighbour problem still though so will have to wait till they go out to do fiddle version

As Ringo said...You know...it dont come easy Katie. I enjoyed that though. I used fiddlermans video and sheet music to help.. obviously still very rough though. thanks for starting party!
