I still remember when the Beatles first arrived in the USA - quite an uproar!
Their 1st impression didn't set well with me - "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"... repeated, over & over??? 😳 and I thought their clothes were ugly, which is funny because most people were concerned about their 'long' hair. 🤣
SO, GLAD I KEPT LISTENING OVER THE YEARS!
@Katie L -
Fabulous PARTY!
Splendid work playing "Hey, Jude"!
Are you planning on learning more of it?
Your new recording set-up is PERFECT!
@maudmaud -
Marvelous "In MY Life"!
I haven't heard that in a LONG time.
LOVE your creative videos!
Glad that you joined the Party!
@ABitRusty -
SMOOTH "Eleanor Rigby"!
Has to be one of my favorites!
Really enjoyed listening!
- Emily
Check out this thread from back in 2018 (before my time here), it's kind of hidden - so many newer people may not know about it, but it was basically a 'Beatles' Party, before we really started all the 'Parties'.

Thanks @ELCBK . And thanks for the link to the previous party-like thread, I hadn't seen it.
@Katie L , same, there are too many. I'd stick to the slower ones though, on the viola.
… er, I was wondering, is it acceptable to transpose them (in order to get easier fingerings) ?
@stringy thanks for joining, good job ! @ABitRusty enjoyed listening to your Eleanor Rigby too. Beautiful song.
@Katie L Wonderful idea for a party! Congrats on your two year mark! You’ve made such great progress. Sounds excellent. Your video setup looks really good, too.
May take me a couple of weeks to join—got a few things I’ve got to clear from my plate first, but I’ll get one in here!
@wtw @maudmaud @ABitRusty @stringy I had to catch up on everyone playing! Excellent work, everyone! So many good choices--

Thanks Sharon and Emily I think my recording has made life a lot easier ! I remember when I recorded Ode to Joy I had my phone balanced on the door handle and the whole time I was hoping no one would walk in. Not what you need when trying to play violin !! I might try and move it back a bit so my whole arm is in view kinda need to know what my wrist is doing !
